Is Anything Truly Random? Rethinking Life, Time, and Perspective

Many people describe their lives as “random,” clinging to the idea that events unfold without rhyme or reason. This belief often stems from a reluctance to accept that everything might be predetermined, written somewhere in the fabric of existence, or programmed to happen. I don’t think anything in life is truly random. What we call “randomness” is just a label we use when we can’t see the bigger picture.
Our ideology and perception shape everything—how we interpret events, how we view ourselves, and how we relate to the world. Some people are born with the ability to see beyond the obvious, and to connect dots that others overlook. Others prefer a more straightforward, linear way of thinking, seeing only what’s right in front of them.
But what if we all decided to think differently? What if we challenged our usual perspectives and opened our minds to new possibilities? Would the world as we know it still exist? These are questions that remain unanswered because only “time”—that ever-elusive concept—will reveal the answers.
Interestingly, “time” and “future” are constructs we’ve created as humans to help us make sense of our place in the universe. In reality, time and space may not even exist in the way we perceive them. They’re just frameworks for understanding—a way to navigate the mystery of existence.
So, is anything truly random? Or is everything part of a larger, unseen pattern? Perhaps the answers lie not in the future, but in how we choose to see the world today.
